Iran: myths and facts about the MEK
The MEK, who they areand what their aim is. They explain that the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) was formed in 1965 and is the largest and most organised Iranian opposition movement. It is the “main component of the coalition, National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), which acts as the parliament-in-exile”.

The group is “committed to a secular, democratic, non-nuclear republic; gender equality; freedom of religion, thought, press, and association; support for peace in the Middle East; and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights”.
The role of the MEKis significant. It was the MEK that exposed the Iranian regime’s nuclear plans, thus preventing Iran from obtaining a nuclear bomb. It was thanks to the group’s network inside Iran that the MEK could reveal what was actually happening inside the country. The IAEA (International Atomic Energy Agency) as a result inspected facilities in Iran.

The massacre of 30,000 political prisoners in 1988, most of which were MEK, members of the Death Commission are now among the highest government and judiciary office holders in Iran. Mostafa Pour Mohammadi is Rouhani's Minister of Justice and Ibrahim Ra'isi and Hossein-Ali Nayyeri are high ranking officials in the Iranian regime's Judiciary.

I think: is no hope of freedom and democracy in Iran but changing the regime and there will be no change but with the real genuine resistance of Iran under leadership of Maryam Rajavi and with 10 point plan for free Iran of tomorrow
